Revolut y hacienda
State structures will have to be completely rebuilt if cryptocurrencies spread. If states want to survive with a tax model they are going to have to start being accountable to us, which would bring true democracy. No more being robbed of what we work so hard to produce to use that money to pay cops who beat us for not obeying their crazy anti-constitutional “laws”. The socialist dictatorship we are living in could disappear forever if we citizens use this tool well.

Theoretically, the European Account Preservation Order, the EAPO, allows courts in the European Union to seize funds from a debtor’s bank accounts located in another EU country.
Yes, quite a lot, thank you very much. Likewise, if anyone reads this and knows from experience, please comment. Equally, I understand that with Brexit the UK may indeed be able to avoid this regulation. I will look into it. Best regards and many thanks again.
By logic, accounts in banks without a banking license are equally attachable, since they are located in associated banks with a credit institution license. In this case, the seizure would come to the licensed bank, where your money is located.
At the moment you cannot be garnished, they can try but an English bank does not accept garnishments from other countries, just as Denmark rejected the EU agreement on garnishments. But pay attention to your Revolut account because with the Brexit they are forced to change their headquarters, and they have chosen Lithuania, the change will be automatic, and it remains to be seen what will be the policy of seizure of that country… When the change is made do not have your money exposed until you are sure. You can contact Revolut and ask about the EU embargo policy in their new headquarter, and if they answer you let us know.

However, what not everyone knows is that as close as the new generation of banks may seem, most of them are actually miles away. The well-known N26 is German, Revolut is British, Feratum Bank is located in Malta, bunq is Dutch, Monese is English and Denizen is located between Germany and the United States. In theory, fintech banking has the advantage of being everywhere at once thanks to the Internet, and where our money is located has little impact on our day-to-day lives, as long as it is in a solvent entity and backed by a guarantee system.
